Vedas are the ancient scripts, written in
Sanskrit, originated from ancient India, extended
far beyond any geographical lines and used around
the globe. The main purpose of this ancient
scripts to bring peace, prosperity and
philosophical enrichment of the human
civilization. |

Bharatia scripts texts may otherwise, broadly, be
categorized into four classes: the Samhitas ( encloses
vedas), Brahmanas (either independent or included within
veda as prose text), Aranyakas, and Upanishads. |
- Samhitas: There are four vedas, namely Rig, Sam,
Yaur and Atharva written during vedic era 1100 to
1700 BC.
- Brahmanas: (either independent or included
within veda as a prose ).
- Aranyakas: " The word itself means a "forest",
and contributed by the individuals lived in the
forest. The Aranyakas, describes about
philosophical practices and sacrifices.
- Upanishads: contains philosophical sermons and
stories.
