Protein: A protein is made up of amino acids of various kinds, first chained (bonded) together, and later folded to give a shape. The size of a protein depends on the number of amino acids are present in that protein. Each unit represents one amino acids, and the line with an arrow indicates the bonding  and the arrow indicated the direction of synthesis. During protein synthesis these amino acids are added one after another, and mRNA decides the the sequence of amino acids to be added to the growing chain.
