Virendra decided to walk during the day and sleep through the night. He wanted to settle in a big city, but even after walking for few days, he did not find his dream place to settle. On his way he often stopped at the villages and learned many new things from the villagers. He did small jobs on his way to support himself. One night when he was sleeping in a hut, the place was attacked my the robbers. First he thought he would run away and save his life, because the robbers were too many to be challenged. When Virendra watched the robbers attemping to kidnap a little girl, he decided to fight back.
He picked up a stick and wrapped some cloths at the end of that stick. He used it as a torch and started spinning around his body. He was spinning his stick so fast that it appeared that Virendra was surrounded by circle of fire. The robbers were desparate too, but could not stop Virendra. They tried to attack Virendra with lance, often injured him, but Virendra did not give up. The villagers who were very afraid in the first place, seeing him fighting all alone, jumped in and fougt back. The robbers had no choice but to run.
The little girl was rescued. Virendra was hurt very badly. The villagers were grateful to him. They attended his wound and provided shelter to Virendra till he got back his strength.
