  • for remote server choose pssql and pgAdminIII
  • to set up a machine that will run applications to connect remote server you may need ODNC / JDBC /Npgsql drivers

Enter the port for PostgreSQL. Make sure that no other applications are using this port. Leave it as default if you are unsure.
